The Pilates Technique is a combination of physical and mental exercises, incorporating the use of different machines. Its goal is to allow the individual to find a physical balance, specially focusing on strengthening the "powerhouse" (abdominal muscles, glutes, lumbars). This deep muscle group will be the base from which the body will develop in harmony, to support better its bone structure.

This specific work helps correct posture, following three Pilates principles : mental control, flexibility and strength, through movement.

All the exercises concentrate on movement fluidity, while focusing on movement precision, which involves a comprehensive use of breath.

All the exercises take place during a private class using all the different equipment - or on the floor in a group class called "MAT CLASS".
