My career as a professional dancer influenced my bodywork towards achieving balance and symmetry.
Facing many different styles of dance, classical or modern, as well as demanding choreographers has given me a lot of versatility. My body became a laboratory, a field for exploring movement - freeing my energies and giving me a sense of fulfillment.

hen I was forced to interrupt my career because of an injury, I naturally turned to an activity which would allow me to maintain a dialogue with my body. With renowned choreographer Trisha Brown, I discovered the Alexander Technique. This technique considers movement through one's skeleton and the connection with the joints. I found continuity with Pilates, which is based on the internal architecture of the body. |

Having been on stage with people for such a big part of my life brought me a particular awareness of human relationships. This gives me the ability to concentrate on one person's development towards a deep understanding of the Pilates technique. Pilates is a discipline of the body as well as of the mind. It structures a way to perceive and listen to one’s own bodywork practice. |
